WCI’s Reporting Committee is seeking public input on the Background Document and Progress Report for Essential Requirements of Mandatory Reporting for the Western Climate Initiative, Third Draft [142 pages] released January 6, 2009. This document incorporates updates of the four sections released December 5, 2008 -- WCI.0-10 General Provisions, WCI.20 General Stationary Combustion, WCI.40 Electricity Generation, WCI.200 Petroleum Refineries. Stakeholders are encouraged to particpate during the teleconference to clarify points and to submit comments via the website as soon as possible. (See "Submit Comments" link at left.) Deadline for comments is January 20.  

Note: At the request of stakeholders during this meeting, the individual Attachments to the Essential Reporting Requirements are posted as Word files on the WCI Documents section. Stakeholders said this would assist them in commenting on the documents. The deadline for comments on WCI's third draft Reporting Requirements has been extended to February 6, 2009
