TheDraft Statement of Principle on Competitiveness has been developed to guidethe WCI process for evaluating competitiveness effects of a regionalcap-and-trade program.  The principles serve as the foundation for acommon approach to addressing competitiveness issues agreed upon by WCI partnerjurisdictions.  In addition, the CSAD Committee has reviewed howlegislative proposals, reports, and other programs currently address or proposeto address competitiveness issues, which provide key background information forCSAD’s work on competitiveness.  Policy options are evaluated in a threepage summary and table entitled Review of Proposed Options for AddressingIndustrial Competitiveness Impacts.
