January 10: WCI's First Public Stakeholder Workshop (in Portland, OR)
At this all-day public workshop Subcommittee Chairs gave brief presentations on the major options under consideration for their topic areas, and sought public input on the Option Papers released at the first of the year. month. More than 300 people registered for the Stakeholder Workshop and another 150 participated via the Webinar/teleconference.

December 6, 2007 - The WCI partners hosted the third public teleconference to brief stakeholders on progress of the Subcommittees in implementing the WCI Workplan and to seek public comment.
Wednesday, October 31 - The partners in the Western Climate Initiative hosted their second 1-hour conference call to brief interested stakeholders on the status of the project.
